Becoming Mr and Mrs Fry || my bridal shower

On April 20th my maid of honor, Aubrey, all my other bridesmaids, my Mom and Aubrey's Mother-in-Law threw me my bridal shower! It turned out amazing and so many people came and showered us with so many gifts!! Anthony and I were beyond blessed by so many people and I had so much fun spending time with everyone.

My bridesmaid, Shalene, made my cupcake cake!

We had shredded chicken sandwiches, sloppy joes, little chicken salad sandwiches, vegetables, and my favorite part was the fruit pizza bar!

Aunt Lori made all the heart shaped sugar cookies, Aubrey made her famous cherry fluff recipe and my Mom brought all the fruit.

 lots of presents...so much love!
artwork for us to hang in our house

 My Maid (Matron) of honor!
 My bridal party!!

All my girls!! Julie and Lauren are our invitation attendants.
Not really sure what they would be called.
I already had too many bridesmaids but I still wanted them to be involved!

Everything was perfect and my girls did a great job throwing me an amazing shower!!
We also have everything unpacked and put in its proper place at our house.
Now we just need to get married and moved in so we can use everything.
17 more days ladies! 17 more days.....eeeee I cannot wait

Checking In...

I am so behind on blogging! Whats new?!
No apologies going out this time I am just going to give you all a little run through this week of some of the major stuff that has been going on.
Today I am just going to start with the most recent event...my bachelorette party!
My girls did an AMAZING job and I cannot thank them enough.
Jesie, one of my bridesmaids, has a house in Columbus right on campus. She just graduated from Ohio State but her and Shannon will have the house for a while longer. So that was perfect.
She planned everything, all we had to do was come along!
Saturday afternoon Aubrey, Joni, Blaire, Lauren and Julie met me at Anthony and I's house and we headed to Columbus. Since it was the holiday weekend I was a paranoid mess about getting pulled over and getting a ticket so I am sure the girls were getting irritated. But we made it there with no speeding tickets.
Poor Jesie said that they had their house all cleaned up and ready for us to come in and when we got there it was like a tornado came through with all of our outfits, makeup and craziness to get ready for the night.

After we all decided what we were wearing and were ready we took a shot and headed out for the night.
Luckily the neighbors were able to take some pictures of us before we I became a hot mess!
We had to eat first and that is where I had my first tequila shot! gah never again but thanks so much Shannon

After dinner and drinks we got the taxi cabs and we were headed to the Arena District.
First stop was the Big Bang Piano Bar which we quickly decided was not that much fun
so around the corner we went to some other bars.
More shots, drinks, trips to the bathroom, dancing and inappropriate pictures for here
I may have been pole dancing on a bar at the saloon...
Unfortunately this little bride to be could not hold her own and we got kicked out of the Saloon at 11:00
because I was throwing up! My girls were great and helped me for the rest of this night
which consisted of getting a cab back to the house, puking in the cab, getting me in the house, to the bathroom and getting me dressed for bed and to sleep on the couch!

Sunday morning was not the greatest but by noon I was able to drive Blaire, Julie and I back to Zanesville.
I spent most of Sunday at Anthony and I's house laying around on the couch and doing some yard work & cleaning. Which by the way our house is really coming along.
Everything is pretty much cleaned out of it and all our gifts from the showers and other stuff we have accumulated over the last couple years is moved in. Maybe sometime when I get a chance I will gather up all the pictures I have taken but definitely after the wedding I will put together a little house tour.

There was a double sided wash tub that was used to hold flowers.
I cleaned it out and was originally going to put fresh flowers in it but after wandering around on Pinterest I saw where some people use these as a beverage holder when they are having parties or cookouts and I decided this would be much more efficient for us! So I cleaned her right up and I was going to paint it but I am kinda liking the rustic feel and am just going to leave it this way.
So this is our new drink hold for our parties that we will be having once we get all settled in.
I love it!!!
Check back tomorrow for some more wedding festivities leading up to our big day!
18 more days ladies!! I cannot believe we are in the teens already.

Catching Up and Becoming Mrs. Fry!

I am going to be MRS. FRY in less than 40 days!!!
tomorrow will be 37 days to be exact.
This engagement has flown by, I am kind of wishing it would slow down a little bit
but then I start thinking about laying on the beach of Isle of Palms or Folly Beach and going to downtown Charleston and going fishing with my husband and I want it all to be here like RIGHT NOW!!

I know I have been a little absent here on the blog but lots has been going on and tomorrow is my last final so after 4:00 p.m. it is going to be full blown wedding planning time! Actually the planning part is over its just prep time now. Everything has been coming together so perfectly!!

Here is the last week through instagram (follow me @mrsfry2013)
Tank and I had a little photoshoot last weekend laying in the grass
this would be our sexy pose
Anthony and I took Molly for a bike ride at Black Hand Gorge and she had so much fun!!
we also did a little hiking

Just a little wedding project! Mason jars for days!!
 Putting center pieces together
More wedding projects in the process
Date night trip to Target. I seriously cannot get enough of this place

Yesterday I had my last anatomy final and it was pouring down rain. Luckily I remembered to bring my rubber boots with me. I hate having wet feet and pants! Tank went to the mailbox with me when I got home. I walked through every puddle and he avoided each one until we were on our way back
Told you I was a little anxious for our honeymoon. This partially packed suitcase is currently sitting on the desk in my room. I think Ms Gimpy thinks she needs to go too!

Wow I have been such a horrible blogger here lately.
So much has been going on and I guess I just got caught up in the day to day and didn't get a chance to actually document it on here like my intentions always have been. But hey isn't that what we are supposed to be doing? Living life?!
I used to be very consumed with getting every little detail documented into a blog post so my readers could know everything that was going on. I think I was so consumed with this that I wasn't living life to the fullest. From now on if I seem a little MIA it is most likely because I am really busy having fun, spending time with family, working out, getting ready for the wedding and little shaninigans that come along with tying the knot or studying my hiney off because I have slacked off for the beginning of this semester and I need to get caught up before my grades start showing that I am having too much fun outside of school.

Anyways whats been going on?

spending time with this little girl

Purchasing a new car for muah!!!!

MY EXCITED FACE TO FINALLY HAVE A NEW CAR!!!
Surprise birthday for my Great Aunt
going hiking with my babe, when the weather actually permits.
The day we took this hike it was in the 70s the very next day it was snowing and freezing outside!
Going to the carwash for the first time with my new car because someone got it really dirty
Shopping trips with Shalene to Easton
We got a little sidetracked going to the boot store.

First time this has happened before...Small Car Parking
It has became my little tradition that I have to stop at Planet Smoothie whenever I go to Easton.
I tried the Shagadelic smoothie this time. It wasn't the greatest but I did enjoy it!
Saturday we went to the Deer and Turkey Expo in Columbus to watch Shane call in the Calling Competition and do some shopping at the Expo
Shane got 1st place in the state competition for the 8th year in a row!!

I ended up buying some tshirts, another pair of shotgun shell earrings, and some floor mats for my car and Anthony's truck. I love the little turkey tracks on them!!! These were only $20 and they came with an air freshner and a mossy oak mousepad.

As for the wedding planning, over Spring Break we got a lot done!
Most of it I cannot share in pictures on here because they are too much detail and will spoil all the surprises. Don't worry though I will be doing many more detailed posts after the wedding.
But the wedding invitations came, I got all my little details done for myself for the wedding, the guys tuxes have been picked out and the shower has been planned.
Everything has been so exciting and fun to plan.
Now I am down to 12 weeks and am starting to get a little anxious and worried about running out of time.
Who am I kidding I have been planning this wedding long before I had my ring on my finger and Anthony popped the question. I knew long ago that he was the man I was going to marry!! Its great to finally see it all coming together!!!
